TrustedReviews: The Motorola HS850 is, without a doubt, the best Bluetooth headset I have ever used.

Or, I might try their over-the-ear boom version, the M150, that I found on buy.com for $18! It seems preferable to me to have the microphone on the boom arm rather than on the cord that could get covered up by a coat or an arm.

Plantronics had a very well designed tool for helping me see which of their products would work on my Kyocera phone. Looks like I'll end up with a M205 which is inexpensive and highly rated at cnet. I know not to buy it direct, though, because prices we've seen elsewhere have been less than half as much.
Had to email Verizon's customer service staff because their web site was not setup to answer my question. And, no person was available to answer my phone call because it is after hours. That doesn't make me a happy consumer. I expect more from such a large company.
A quick trip to Verizon's web page and discovered that they don't seem to be offering a bluetooth phone, yet.
The Plantronics M3000 Bluetooth gets high marks from cnet for a bluetooth headset. I'm going to have to look into the cost of a bluetooth-enabled phone while I'm at it!
The Plantronics M206-N1 EarBud Headset gets high marks from ZDNET. And, it's only $15! This could be the one!
Now the previous page was a great find for another reason, too. One knowledgeable and helpful Amazon.com customer that came before us was kind enough to post their experience with other bluetooth headsets they've purchased. Now, we know to look into the next model, the Jabra BT250.
I couldn't find this model right away on Amazon, so I switched over to Froogle and searched for it there.

Found out about the bluetooth version!
Jabra FreeSpeak Bluetooth Headset for Bluetooth-Equipped Phones
This is a really great find for two reasons. First, there's no cord to choke you when putting on a coat or getting into the car, or hugging your kids. Second, it'll work with a PDA. This brings up very interesting possibilies. You could run a VoIP application on your Internet-enabled PDA, and this would work as headphones for that, too. All of a sudden I can picture myself listening to my favorite tunes on launch.com while sipping a latte at Starbucks and chatting with my friend in San Diego! With the right bluetooth headset, I could have an awesome mp3 player, too!

Looked up Jabra Earboom on Amazon.com to try to find out what buyers thought of the product.

It's nice to start research on new products with a trip to a trusted source, Consumer Reports.
Here, we discovered that we'd probably find an earbud earpiece most comfortable. Not sure about the boom mike from this site alone, though, so we'll have to keep looking.
